Day 1:Marrakech to Toubkal valley Atlas Mountains, Imsker village (B,L,D)

After your pickup from Marrakech, we make a short transfer to the foot of Mount Toubkal Valley. There, you will be met by local guides and set off for the ascent of the Tamatert Pass. This first ride is on an incredible rolling road that overlooks the deep valley with contrasting terraces and arid flanks. Reach the track on the right side where you will find a succession of Berber villages that have beehive clinging to the sides of the Mountains. After your descent, your 3-4 hour Mountainbiking for the day will end and you can enjoy your dinner in Berber Guest House.

Day 2: Imsker through the Valley Asni then Marrakech (B, L)

Have breakfast, then leave Imsker following a dirt road that climbs steadily, allowing you to enjoy a beautiful view over the Ait Mizane Valley, (Imlil Valley) neighboring valleys, and small passes. Continue to the Tizi n’Tacht pass where you will stop for drinks and delicious nuts. Afterward, head back along the rocky single track of the day, then head back to Imi’Oughelad, then Asni. From there, get dropped off at your Marrakech accommodations.

    Amazingly Unexpected Experience!
I booked a 2-day tour in the Atlas Mountains with Hamid and his team of dedicated guides and hosts.

Hamid had amazing communication before and during my trip. His team showed me outstanding hospitality and treated me like family while I was with them. They took care of every detail of the mountain bike trip / cultural experience and even helped me out with several logistical items before and after my experience with them.

Mohamed was a great guide that new the trails and villages we went through well. At no time did I feel lost or left behind as Mohamed gladly would wait for me around every corner. He is a skilled rider and an amazing host that made this a wonderful experience.

Throughout this trip, I had many unique cultural experiences that I was not expecting. This made for a truly unique once in a lifetime experience.

There is no other way to experience the High Atlas Mountains than on a Mountain Bike with Hamid and his team. I am extremely glad I was able to have this opportunity and would fully recommend booking a tour with MTB Morrocco!

If you’re looking for an adventure that’s out of the ordinary, then the Bike in Morocco three day e-bike tour of the Atlas Mountains is where it’s at! We covered 130km and 3,000m of climbing, taking in stunning views of pine forests, mountain villages and desert trails. Our knowledgeable guide crafted an epic route that kept us entertained and excited. Plus, our support van was ready to serve up freshly made teas and lunches whenever we needed a break. We stayed in cozy Berber guest houses and were made to feel right at home. If you’re an avid cyclist, doing 50-80kms a week, this trip is definitely doable and a great way to mix up your routine. Highly recommended!
